Today,
in class, I was showing my students where to find Rice Auditorium at
Western Oregon University because we were all going to attend a
performance of Romeo and Juliet (it was great, by the way). I noticed
that the parking lots were identified by letters, (e.g. Lot A, Lot B,
etc.). I pointed to Lot R and said, "This is where the hobbits park!"
One of my kids blurted out, "Nerd." She is so right.
